The Journalism/Yearbook Program at Fivay High School provides students with hands-on experience in storytelling, photography, design, and digital media production. Students work collaboratively to document school events, celebrate student achievements, and preserve the memories that define each school year through the creation of the annual yearbook and other journalistic projects.
Students develop valuable real-world skills in writing, interviewing, editing, photography, graphic design, project management, and teamwork while learning the principles of ethical journalism and responsible media production. The program encourages creativity, leadership, professionalism, and effective communication, preparing students for future opportunities in media, communications, marketing, and related fields.
Through their work, Fivay High School journalists serve as the voice of the student body, capturing the stories, traditions, and experiences that make our school community unique.
