Mr. Patrick Bonelli is entering his fourth year of teaching at Fivay High School as the Band/Choir Director. A Florida native, Mr. Bonelli graduated from Dunedin High School where he performed in the Highlander Marching Band as a percussionist with a primary focus in front ensemble. Shortly after high school, he enlisted in the military as a United States Marine and served 4 years active duty. After receiving honorable discharge, he spent the next several years working as a staff member for Dunedin High School, Winter Park High School, and many others, focusing on helping students to achieve a higher understanding of music performance. Mr. Bonelli decided to further his education by attending St. Petersburg College for his Associates in Arts degree and the University of Central Florida for his Bachelors in Arts degree in Music. He has had the opportunity to perform with concert groups such as the Wilmington Symphonic Winds and the Orlando Concert Band, as well as numerous percussion ensembles and other performing ensembles in the Orlando and Tampa Bay area. His passion for music has inspired him to work as a teacher as he hopes to inspire his students to become future musicians, artist, and leaders in their community!

With three years of teaching experience, Mrs. Walker brings a strong foundation and passion for performance to the world of color guard. A dedicated member throughout her high school years, she developed a deep appreciation for precision, artistry, and teamwork that continues to shape her instructional style. After graduation, she remained active in the activity as a color guard technician, helping students refine their skills and build confidence on the field. While attending college, Mrs. Walker expanded her expertise by working as a dance instructor for two years, further strengthening her knowledge of movement, choreography, and performance technique. Now in her second year working with Fivay High School’s marching band, she is committed to fostering growth, discipline, and creativity in every performer, helping students achieve both personal and team success.

Ms. Tashya is an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher at Fivay High School . A proud alumna of the River Ridge High School Royal Sound, she performed on alto saxophone, percussion, tuba, and sousaphone throughout her high school band years. 

Ms. Tashya currently performs as a part-time tubist with Anclote Symphonic Winds (ASW) and remains active in the marching arts. In 2025, she marched in Drum Corps International with Fusion Core Drum & Bugle Corps as the Contra Tuba Section Leader and has returned for the 2026 season as the Horn Sergeant. She also served as staff for the 2026 Fivay High School Indoor Percussion ensemble, helping guide students through a successful competitive season. 

Her passion for music, education, and performance continues to inspire students both inside and outside of the classroom, combining a dedication to teaching with a lifelong commitment to musical excellence

Alexander Perlaza is a versatile woodwind musician and software developer who relocated from New Jersey to Florida in 2021, bringing with him nearly a decade of performance experience across orchestras, symphonic bands, and wind ensembles. He began his musical journey as a clarinetist before taking up the bassoon in his junior year at Wayne Hills High School in 2017, quickly developing a passion for the instrument that would define his musical path. Since making Florida his home, he has immersed himself in the local music community, joining multiple ensembles across the Tampa Bay area. Over the years, Alexander has cultivated a broad range of technical skills across multiple woodwind instruments, continuously refining his artistry through diverse performance settings — from classical symphonic repertoire and advanced wind band literature to video game arrangements and community concert programming. Outside of music, he enjoys software development, composing, and exploring the piano, reflecting a creative curiosity that spans both the arts and technology.

Joseph Callaway is currently the Director of Bands, Choir. and Guitar at Hudson Academy in Hudson, FL. 

He holds a B.S in Music Education from the University of South Florida, where he performed in many ensembles. This includes USF Jazz Ensemble 1, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra. He also performed with the USF Herd of Thunder Marching Band.

When he isn’t teaching, he can still be found performing as the principal trombonist of the Tampa Brass Band, playing string bass for various musicals with New Tampa Players, and occasional local performances with other musicians. 

Christopher T. Greco  began his musical career in elementary school by joining the band and playing alto saxophone. He continued through middle and high school and was selected to play in numerous honor ensembles throughout the county and state. Mr. Greco started arranging in high school, but it was a short-lived experience. After high school, he pursued his degree in Music Education at the University of South Florida. It wasn’t until his third year at the University that he returned to writing and arranging for smaller ensembles. Upon finishing his degree in 2014, he started off as a long-term sub in Pasco County Schools until he landed his first job as a high school director at River Ridge in his hometown. During that time, his groups received numerous high marks and invitations to perform in and out of the state of Florida. While teaching, Mr. Greco continued to write arrangements and compositions for local and university bands.

When the COVID pandemic hit, Mr. Greco returned to school and received his Masters degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. Upon receiving his degree in 2023, he pursued teaching at the middle school level where he is now the music director at Bayonet Point Middle School.

Over the last decade Mr. Greco has written numerous arrangements and compositions for his friends and colleagues around the US in the forms of marching shows, stand tunes, jazz ensembles, concert works, and commissions. He is very excited to share his works and ideas with the C. L. Barnhouse Company and with the world.
