BECOME A VOLUNTEER!

Our Program relies heavily on parent involvement.  We encourage you to support the students by getting involved and assisting with the growth of the program. This allows the students to participate in events like football games, marching band competitions, FFCC championships, MPA, and more!

Volunteer Needs:

  • Chaperones (Football Games, Competitions, FFCC Championships, MPA’s, any trip the band may take.)
  • Prop Assistants (Help create, assemble, and push the props on the field.)
  • Concessions and Other Fundraiser (Help run the concessions this season or help maintain and assist with our fundraisers.)
  • Trailer Puller (Help pull 1 of our 2 band trailers. This allows the equipment, props, and most importantly the instruments to arrive at events)
    • You will need a vehicle that has the proper hookups and equipment to pull a trailer.
    • Your vehicle will need to pass a inspection prior to pulling the trailer.
  • Volunteer (It takes a village and you can volunteer to help make dinners prior to football games or competitions, bring water to students at any of the events, or assist with the boosters and Mr. Bonelli)

New Requirements for the 2024 – 2025 School Year:

  • All volunteers need to get Fingerprinted. (Effective: 8/1/2024)
  • Fingerprinting will cost each volunteer $41.25. (Volunteers are responsible for this cost)
    • Fingerprints will last 5 years!
    • This makes you a Level II volunteer.
  • The whole process will review records from the state of Florida and the national FBI Database.
  • The district will pay for your yearly monitoring fee!
    • This allows your fingerprints to stay active for 5 years.
  • All volunteers must fill out a Raptor Volunteer Application form each year.
    • This will renew your fingerprints each year, and keep your Level II status active.
    •  If you do not reapply by the stated deadline set by the Pasco County, you will need to renew your fingerprints.
  • All of this will be available on July 1st 2024, please don’t fill out anything till this date.
  • If you have any questions please reach out to our Boosters or Mr. Bonelli.

This is an important process and we hope that you all volunteer this upcoming school year. Your dedication to the program allows our students to reach their goals and aspirations as young musicians!
