Meet the Mr. Bonelli:
Mr. Patrick Bonelli is entering his second year teaching at Fivay High School as the Band/Choir Director. A Florida native, Mr. Bonelli graduated from Dunedin High school where he preformed in the Highlander Marching Band as a percussionist with a primary focus in front ensemble. Shortly after high school, he enlisted in the military as a United States Marine and served 4 years active duty. After receiving his honorable discharge, he spent the next several years working as a staff member for Dunedin High School and Winter Park High School, along with many others, focusing on helping students to achieve a higher understanding of music performance. Mr. Bonelli decided to further his education by attending St. Petersburg College for his Associates in Arts degree and then the University of Central Florida for his Bachelors in Arts degree in Music. He has had the opportunity to perform with concert groups such as the Wilmington Symphonic Winds and the Orlando Concert Band, as well as numerous percussion ensembles and other performing ensembles in the Orlando and Tampa Bay area. His passion for music has inspired him to work as a teacher as he hopes to inspire his students to become future musicians, artist, and leaders in the community. In his spare time, Mr. Bonelli enjoys spending time with his family, friends and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning. You can often find him on a track training for marathons or at a theme park enjoying all that Florida has to offer. Let’s make this year the best one at Fivay High School!
