The University of South Florida’s School of Music, will be hosting Festival of Winds, Opus 36, from December 2-5, 2010. Festival of Winds is a music festival that hosts nearly 400 high school band students from across the state of Florida. Selected students will be expected to put together a high quality concert with only 16 hours of rehearsal time, while being taught by a clinicians from across the country.
The FHS Falcon Regiment Band is proud to have 3 students selected to participate in 2010 festival:

- Forrest Hartmann
Band t-shirts are finally in production, and should be completed within the next week. That being said, we’d like to show you the design for the 2010-2011 Halftime Show t-shirt.

At this week’s football game, the Fivay High School Falcon Regiment Band will be joined by the Bayonet Point Middle School Band and Hudson Middle School Band. The combined bands, will be performing the “Hey Song” and “Falcon Nest” during our pregame festivities, which begin at 6:40 p.m. in Falcon Stadium. In addition to the Bayonet Point and Hudson Middle School Bands, the Zephyrhills High School Bulldog Band will be joining us to perform the National Anthem. With all four bands combined, we expect to hear just over 200 Pasco County band students! Read more
